JICA President Award

JAPAN INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AGENCY

On September 16, 2015, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has selected individuals, groups and projects as recipient of “the 11th JICA President Commendation” in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the development of human resources, society and the economy of developing countries. This year, 9 projects, 4 individuals and 1 group will be awarded as “The JICA President Award”(*1), and 12 individuals and 7 groups as “The JICA Recognition Award”(*2). The list of recipients is attached. President of JICA will present the certificate of the Commendation and the tribute to the recipients. On Friday, October 16, 2015, JICA will invite the recipients living in Japan and hold a ceremony for the Commendation at the International Conference Hall in JICA Ichigaya Building. (*1) The JICA President Award is awarded to projects, experts or volunteers to honor its outstanding results for JICA’s activities. (*2) The JICA Recognition Award is awarded to individuals or groups to express JICA’s gratitude for the cooperation and/or long-standing contribution to JICA/JICA’s activities.

Considerando que la cooperación franco-chilena constituye un eje fundamental de las relaciones entre los dos países, como lo demuestra el éxito del programa “Evaluación – orientación de la cooperación científica” (ECOS).
